Reserve Payment Plan
We at Ama Treasures realise that a jewellery purchase often signifies a precious moment in our client's lives. We also acknowledge that in today's world, internet shopping and credit cards are not as prevalent as is commonly said. For this reason, we have devised a simple payment plan which we hope assists those without credit cards, allows time for you, our client, to think about your purchase, and possibly make arrangements to view your item before your purchase. An important factor to remember is that AmaTreasures does not normally stock bulk quantities of mass produced items. We strive to discover one-of-a kind pieces. Therefore, it is vital to understand that when a piece is sold, it is questionable as to whether there will be another available.
Our Reserve Payment plan is straightforward. The plan removes the item you wish to purchase from stock and reserves it for you. Initially, you must pay 10% of the purchase price and a £2.00 service charge. Over 12 weeks, the balance of the product must be paid. Longer terms are available for more expensive purchases. Payments are devised to be paid weekly, but you may pay more than the payment due, pay in advance, or pay in full any time. At any time the Reserve Payment Plan may be cancelled and the payments you have made will be refunded, less fees. (see note).
Payments may be made through Royal Mail at the address in the Contact page, or by using the payment button in the menu .
For example: a client purchases a necklace for £120.00. This is divided into 12 payments. Upon corresponding, the client sends a deposit of £14.00. In seven days, the next payment of £10.00 is due. The client may pay £10.00 or £15.00 or £50.00 or whatever they wish. The payments will be applied to as many payments as possible (for example, £50.00 pays 5 payments in advance). When the purchase price is fully paid, AmaTreasures will send the item to you registered Royal Mail.
Simply email ama@amatreasures.co.uk with the item information, catalogue page number and your personal information. At this time, we will ensure that the product is still in stock, remove it from the inventory and store it securely with your name on it. We will notify you that this has been done and secure a 10% deposit. Written confirmation will be made, detailing the payment schedule.
There are no finance charges, interest, or other costs to you the consumer to this plan, other than those noted below. Full title and ownership of the merchandise remains with AmaTreasures until it has been fully paid.
Note: As there is extensive administration in maintaining this plan, in the case of cancellation, AmaTreasures will retain the initial service charge of £2.00 and 20% of the paid fees as compensation for administration, storage, and lost sales.
IMPORTANT: If 3 consecutive payments are missed, AmaTreasures reserves the right to return the item to inventory and sell it. Naturally, the client is still entitled to a refund as stated above.
